With the soil properly levelled, yes — it's straightforward enough that most people can handle it. That said, our team can give you the cleanest finish.
Water the soil and roll it firm before laying. Get the levels true and the falls right for the garden. The finished soil should sit 3–4 cm below paths, kerbs and any paved surfaces — so the turf, once down, ends up flush with them. Allow for around 10% settlement after watering. With sub-grade work done, lay the rolls so their soil edges butt firmly against each other. Start in a corner. When a new roll meets one already down, raise the new roll's edge 3–4 cm above the soil, butt the two edges, and press the new roll's soil firmly into place. Water the laid turf for every 50 m² laid — don't wait until the whole job is finished.
