Tahoma 31 Bermuda

Tahoma 31 is the result of crossing two cold-hardy Bermudas selected from the Himalayas and South Africa — both regions known for cold, dry climates. We grow Tahoma 31 in-house. It's a ready-turf product with high cold tolerance and strong drought resistance, plus excellent salinity tolerance. The sward is dense and fine-textured with a deep green colour. It spreads horizontally rather than vertically. Compared with other warm-season cultivars it enters dormancy later in the season and breaks dormancy earlier — useful for sites that need to stay green for as much of the year as possible. After heavy use it recovers from damage and wear faster than most alternatives, and it adapts well to challenging site conditions.
